Launched in 2025 by Jorge Luis García and produced at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera under the guidance of master blender Eladio Díaz, The Test entered a highly competitive premium cigar market as a new independent brand.

The brand\’s flagship release is a Robusto measuring 5 x 50, featuring a Corojo wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and a filler blend composed of Piloto Cubano, HVA, Corojo 99, Criollo 98 and Habana 92 tobaccos. Production takes place at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic.
Its development also represented one of the earliest commercial projects associated with Eladio Díaz following his departure from his previous long-term role in the Dominican cigar industry.
