Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. – The Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers (PROCIGAR) has officially opened registration for the 19th edition of the PROCIGAR Festival, scheduled to take place from February 16–19, 2027, in Santiago de los Caballeros, the capital of Dominican tobacco.
Under the central theme "Every Moment Has a Story," the 2027 gathering invites passionates, distributors, master blenders, and specialized media from around the globe to immerse themselves in the world-class craftsmanship and culture behind Dominican premium cigars.
An Immersive Journey from Seed to Smoke
The PROCIGAR Festival stands as the global benchmark event for experiencing the artistry, tradition, and expertise of the Dominican cigar industry. Over four days, attendees will engage in a full agenda of educational, cultural, and sensory activities:
- Factory and Field Tours: Guided visits through the tobacco fields of the Yaque Valley and state-of-the-art production facilities, offering direct interaction with growers and master artisans.
- Seminars & Cigar Power Talks: Educational sessions highlighting market trends, fermentation techniques, rare tobacco blends, and curated international pairings.
- Exclusive Tastings & Evening Events: Unreleased cigar tastings and themed dinners hosted by PROCIGAR member companies in iconic locations across the Cibao region.

Expanding on its traditional framework, PROCIGAR has introduced two new highlights for the 2027 program:

The festival concludes with its famous Auction Gala Dinner, a formal evening uniting prominent figures across the industry.
